FAQ

How much should I tip?
Common tipping practices vary by country. In the US, 15–20% is standard for restaurants; 18–25% for exceptional service. In many European countries, tipping is optional or rounded up.
Is tax included in the bill amount?
Enter whichever amount you want to tip on. If your bill shows a pre-tax subtotal and you want to tip on that, enter the subtotal.
What if we want to pay unequal amounts?
This calculator splits evenly. For unequal splits, divide the total by the amounts each person ordered, or use the per-person figure as a starting reference.
